This is the eight ton feed bin that our horse feed is bulk delivered into and stored in. It is a safe and dry environment to store feed in and keeps our feed fresh.

The feed is supplied by a large and long time established feed business in the Austin area. Rocking B Stables has a feed program that makes sure your horse is fed in a consistent time period and that those times do not change greatly.

We periodically have our feed tested by the Texas State Chemist Office and this is the latest results from that testing. Our feed is bought from Livengood Feeds which bulk delivers it out to our location which is then stored in our feed bin which holds about 8 tons of feed.

As you can see in the test results our feed test out at is way above its guaranteed percentages. As a example the crude protein is guaranteed to be 13% but actually tested to be 14.35% protein.

Our hay is a weed free fertilized high quality coastal hay that is stored in a dry covered hay barn to make sure your horse gets only high quality clean fresh hay.

We provide top grade horse quality coastal hay roundbales in these pens. The difference is that we have them covered and off the ground, unlike a lot of our competitors who do not.

Both the feed and hay is fed twice daily to your horse as part of our full care program that our boarding includes.
